Medieval knights clash swords on campus
Europe’s largest Medieval celebration is taking place in Leeds with over 2,500 enthusiasts from 60 countries coming together both in person and virtually to immerse themselves in the Middle Ages.

Dr Murray, Senior Lecturer in Medieval Studies in the School of History, has been awarded the J.F. Verbruggen Prize for his book Baldwin of Bourcq: Count of Edessa and King of Jerusalem (1100-31).
