The School of Philosophy, Religion and History of Science (PRHS) at the University of Leeds invites expressions of interest from researchers in having a British Academy Postdoctoral Fellowship hosted by the School. Applicants with accepted expressions of interest will receive significant guidance during September using our successful model for applications and focused support for grant application development.

Eligibility: Early career (PhD viva voce between 1 April 2023 and 1 April 2026) British citizens and EEA nationals, regardless of where they obtained their doctoral degree, and early career researchers of any nationality with a doctorate from a UK university. See the BA website (linked below) for full details. For your project to be hosted by PRHS, your research must be in philosophy, history and philosophy of science, or theology and religious studies.

(Please note that we normally expect candidates who wish to apply for a Leverhulme Early Career Fellowship with us in February to also apply for a British Academy Postdoctoral Fellowship with us the previous October.)
